Chest measurement is what determines your size. Neck and back measurements help confirm the fit, but always go by chest first.

Quick recap:

• Neck — around the base of the neck, close to the shoulders
• Chest — at the widest point, just behind the front legs
• Back — from the middle of the shoulder blades to the base of the tail

Before You Measure

We're a small, made-to-order brand, so an accurate measurement really helps us get your dog's fit right the first time.

• Measure your dog directly, not a harness or an old jumper — even a well-fitting harness or jumper can give you the wrong size.
• Stand your dog on a flat, level surface rather than a sofa or cushion — a soft surface can throw off the measurement.
• Keep the head level or just slightly raised. A lowered head can make the back measurement longer than it really is, which may leave the garment hanging loose.
• No need to add extra room "just in case" — every size already includes enough ease for comfortable movement.

Choosing Your Size

• Chest and back point to different sizes? Go by chest, and add your dog's back measurement to the order comments.
• Outside the chart or not sure which size to choose? Add your dog's measurements to the order comments — we'll adjust the pattern to fit, free of charge.
• Want fully custom measurements? Just note them in the order comments at checkout.
